Universal

Hey,

As it turns out there is a Universal in Singapore and there was no way I was going to Singapore without going to Universal so that's today. This Universal is a lot smaller than Florida but that's good. I was wonderful. We all bought a fast pass 'Universal Express' which meant you got to skip the queues for almost all the rides and was only $50. Totally worth it.

We managed to go on all the rides on the fast pass but 2 which were donkey live that was a show and beach party-go-round which are both from Madagascar. Here are the rides that we did go on and a bit about them.

1. Madagascar: A crate adventure

This ride was a bit like 'it's a small world' in Disney but with a Madagascar theme. It was lovely and relaxing.

2. Far Far Away: Enchanted airways

This was like a run away train but it was a purple dragon.

3. Far Far Away: Shrek 4-D adventure

This was like a blend between 4-D Ice Age in Alton Towers and Star War in Florida.

4. Far Far Away: Puss in Boots' Great journey

This ride was like a blend between the squirrel ride at Alton Towers and Pinocco in Disney Florida, mashed together with a slower run away train.

Before going on any more rides we had some ice cream, I had mango sorbet.

5. The Lost World: Jurassic Park Rapids

This was amazing, I got absolutely soaked which was lovely, and so much fun watching the scenes surrounding the ride.

6. The Lost World: Dino-Soarin

This ride was like Dumbo and Aladdin: flying carpets but they were dinosaurs, very fun.

7. Ancient Egypt: Revenge of the Mummy

This ride was fun and unusual which means it was unique to Singapore. This ride was in the dark with flashing lights. My eyes!

8. Sci-Fi City: Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN

This ride was part 1 of 2 and was like the original Air in Alton Towers but smoother and it had the shape of a rocket at the bottom. If only I had a photo.

9. Sci-Fi City: Battlestar Galactica: CYLON

This was a blend between the traditional Air and Nemesis but smoother and this ride wend upside down more than once, well that's what it felt like. This ride is part 2.

Now it was time for lunch which was to chicken meals to share: 1 roasted and the other steamed, and 2 cola light's to share between the 3 of us.

10: The Lost World: WaterWorld

This was a great show but you didn't get wet, at all. I prefer Disney but when at Disney you don't get to go to many if any of the shows as the park is so big.

11. Sci-Fi City: Accelerator

This ride was a laim version of the tea cups so it was disappointing.

12: Sci-Fi City: Transformers: 3D Battle

This was like the Spider-man ride in Florida but this one didn't break down or stop working, oh and the whole it's transformers not Spider-man thing.

13. New York: Lights, Camera, Action

I found the talk video about it more interesting than the actual attraction as it was terrible.

14. New York: Sesame Street spaghetti space chase

This ride was so weird but Sue loved it and it was fun, definitely funny. It was like Snow White and the seven dwarfs ride in Florida.

Well that's it for the rides, Afterwards we went to an event called splash out, you would expect to get wet, we didn't. This wasn't a very good event so we went to the Universal store earlier than planned. Overall had a fantastic day,

Thanks for reading
