Sunny Holiday in Devon

 Hello Everyone,

I know this is my first post in nearly 2 years but I have been quite busy and my laptop broke earlier this year - finally got a new one.

I know that it has been a difficult year for everyone and I hope that you are all having a lovely break.

My week break from work has been spent in Devon with my family. It is nice to be back after a whole year away. In this post I will give a brief outline of what I did that day with a selection of my photographs underneath.

On our first day in Devon, we travelled to Plymouth. We explored the National Trust place, Saltram House - this was great as we got to spend time as a family and I got wonderful photographs of flowers and the view.

 


Broadsands - spent the afternoon on the beach and even went swimming in the FREEZING cold sea!

Goodrington - A lovely Morning walk with the family

 

National Trust: Greenway - A lovely walk down to a boat house where we stopped for a picnic and a bit of painting (I received a red strip on my lower back, not too bad though) before walking back to the entrance, café where we had a nice drink (cold drink for me) and I had an ice cream.

Plymouth - We went to see my aunt's new house - she has been having an adventure moving in during lockdown.

Edgcumbe - A lovely day out with the family, having a nice picnic, smelling the roses, watching a war ship, and finally ending the day trip with nice cold drink - before going back to my Aunt's for a meal and movie. :) 

Paignton - A lovely meal at 'The Palace Hotel' for lunch on our last day in Devon.

Paignton - A game of mini-golf - I got a hole-in-one even if I didn't win. Then a ride on Wild Mouse before going back to grandma's to pack.
